contract with Manoj Raj Panta, president of Rural Empowerment Society, for construction of a new health post in Kavre
The signing ceremony was held at the Embassy of Japan today.

According to the embassy, the project is
funded under the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects of the Japanese Government and involves a grant of USD 113,096
(approximately Rs 14 million)
The project supports the construction of a health post in Chaurideurali Rural Municipality.
Currently, although there is
one rural municipal hospital in the northern part of the rural municipality, it takes more than two hours on foot from the southern part of
the rural municipality to reach the hospital
The distance and poor transport access conditions prevent residents from receiving medical examinations and treatment.Also, this area has
unstable electricity supply, which affects medical services at the hospital
A health post to be provided by the project will be equipped with solar power generation system
This will improve the situation and provide medical services to the nearby population.Rural Empowerment Society has been working to improve
the lives of residents in this area for some time.The project will be managed by Chaurideurali Rural Municipality and Rural Empowerment
The rural municipality has committed to providing necessary medical equipment as well as doctors, nurses, and other human resources and
