Though Bajura District Hospital pro-vides emergency parturition service, delivery of the service had been disrupted for the past one week
due to lack of related doctors
As learnt, emergency parturition service at the hospital had been disrupted after a coterie of doctors, including Dr Sunil Kumar Sah, Dr
Bipul Chaudhary and Dr Jasmita Balampaki, who attended to emergency parturition cases, were on leave.
Dr Dipendra Budha of
the hospital said parturition-related doctors were on leave to attend their exam in Kathmandu.Bhagya is not the only woman who had to bear

Earlier, Nani Rokaya of Bamu, Ward No 1 of Himali Rural Municipality, had also given birth on the way to the hospital
She delivered while being taken to Bamu Basic Health Service Centre, three hours' away from her home.Prior to that, Parbati Budha, 23, of
Natikhola, Ward No 2 of Himali Rural Municipality had also given birth on the way to Bichhyan Health Post in Ward No 1.One month ago,
Kartika BK, 35, of Muktikot, Ward No 1 of Swamikartik Khapar Rural Municipality, also delivered her baby on the way.It's important to note
