Nepal records six COVID-19 cases on Friday

KATHMANDU, JANUARY 27The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal has reached 18,
on Friday as six persons tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.

The nationwide COVID-19 infection tally remains at 1,001,092 while the death toll
remains at 12,020 as no fatality was recorded today. Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 989,054 with two
discharges logged today.As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 150 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of
which 150 were PCR tests while no were antigen tests.With this, a total of 6,002,097 PCR tests have been carried out till date.Similarly,
antigen tests confirmed no positive case in the past 24 hours
Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.8%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine
facilities across Nepal.
