INSUBCONTINENT EXCLUSIVE:
KATHMANDU: Qatar Charity has extended its support to Sarlahi and Rautahat communities
under its "Anticipation – Heatwave in Terai Districts 2023".According to the Charity, it has lended support through distributing essential
items to 2,600 students at community schools, water cooler with RO filtration system and ceiling fans to community schools, food voucher to
daily wage workers, and water cooler with RO filtration system to local government in Sarlahi and Rautahat districts.
Qatar Charity also
expressed its gratitude to UK Aid, Start Fund Nepal for their financial support, and Rural Development Center and Chetana, Sarlahi for
coordinating this anticipatory heatwave project.
The Charity also lauded the roles of the District Administration Office,
Local Government, Police Administration, local volunteers, and other helping hands in making the project a grand success.
