Bayalpata Hospital, Achham
Shankar's father Dan Bahadur Dadal said the hospital referred him to Dhangadi, Nepalgunj and Kathmandu for further treatment, adding, "But
there is no option other than to take him home." Shankar's mother Basmati Thapa said she had taken him to Bayalpata
Hospital, but in vain
"We have no treatment expenses to take him to another health facility," she said
"It is very difficult to manage daily meal for the family," she added.Basmati is visually impaired while Dan Bahadur is physically weak and
cannot speak.Acute food crisis has hit the family as Dan Bahadur and Basmati are unable to work
The family is in deep trouble as doctors have advised that Shankar be taken to a well-facilitated health service in Kathmandu and other
