NEW DELHI: Shares of Xchanging Solutions (up 15.90 per cent), Jaiprakash Power Ventures (up 13.56 per cent), RattanIndia Power (up 10.39 per
cent) and Trident (up 10.05 per cent) surged over 10 per cent on NSE in morning trade on Monday.
Stocks such as Shalby (up 6.93 per cent),
J.Kumar Infraprojects (up 6.32 per cent), Hindusthan National Glass Industries (up 5.81 per cent), IDFC (up 5.64 per cent) and Avanti Feeds
(up 5.16 per cent) were trading over 5 per cent higher around the same time
Equity benchmarks were trading in the positive terrain on gains in select bank, energy, metal and auto stocks amid broadly positive global
cues.
Heavyweights ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank and Reliance Industries were boosting the benchmark
indices.
However, losses in Infosys, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Hindustan Unilever, Sun Pharma and HDFC dragged Sensex and Nifty down from their
record highs.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 21 points up at 11,382, while BSE Sensex was up 95 points at 37,651 around 10:10 am.
In the
Nifty pack, 30 stocks were in the green, while 20 were in the red.
UPL, ONGC and Zee Entertainment Enterprises were among the top gainers in
