Stock market update: Realty stocks mixed; Godrej Properties jumps 3%, but DLF declines

Godrej Properties (down 2.77 per cent), Housing Development Infrastructure (HDIL) (down 1.83 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (down
0.68 per cent), Phoenix Mills (down 0.68 per cent) and Oberoi Realty (down 0.36 per cent) were among the losers in the realty index
On the other hand, DLF (up 0.98 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (up 0.88 per cent), Sobha (up 0.77 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate (up
0.41 per cent) were trading with gains
Gains in select bank, metl, auto and energy stocks were keeping the benchmarks up. The NSE Nifty50 index was up 37 points at 11,397, while
the BSE Sensex was up 170 points at 37,726. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 27 were trading in the green, while 23 were in the red
Axis Bank, State Bank of India, ICICI Bank, Bharti Airtel and UPL were among the top gainers in the Nifty index. Hindustan Unilever, Kotak
Mahindra Bank, GAIL (India), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries and Dr
Reddy's Laboratories were among the top losers in the Nifty pack of stocks.
