Stock market update: Over 60 stocks hit 52-week lows on NSE on Thursday

on NSE on Thursday. SREI Infrastructure Finance, RPG Life Sciences, Premier Explosives, Orient Bell, Mahindra Holidays Resorts India,
Matrimony.Com, Jaypee Infratech, Intrasoft Technologies, Indian Terrain Fashions, HSIL, Fiem Industries, Centum Electronics, Byke
Hospitality and Kajaria Ceramics also featured among stocks that touched 52-week lows on NSE. Hit by an unabated fall of the Indian rupee
and negative Asian cues, Indian stocks ended lower on Thursday, with gains in IT, pharma and auto stocks outpaced by losses in financials
Domestic equity benchmarks followed the weak trend in global markets as a political crisis in Turkey and US-China trade war woes weighed on
investor sentiment. The Sensex shed 188 points, or 0.50 per cent, settling at 37,664, with 13 stocks advancing and 18 declining. The Nifty50
fell for 50 points, or 0.44 per cent, ending the day at 11,385, with 20 stocks in the green and 30 in the red. Among the sectors, Nifty
Pharma, IT and auto closed the day in the green, while Nifty FMCG settled almost flat
Nifty Metal cracked over 2 per cent, finishing with all components in the red. Kotak Mahindra Bank, Vedanta, Zee Entertainment Enterprises,
HDFC, Indiabulls Housing Finance and Hindalco Industries stood as the top Nifty losers of the day.
