NEW DELHI: ONGC on Saturday reported 61.08 per cent year-on-year (YoY) jump in net profit at Rs 8,264.61 crore for September quarter.
The
oil major had reported Rs 5,130.74 crore profit in the year-ago quarter.
Revenue from operations came in at Rs 27,989.17 crore for the
quarter, up 47.58 per cent over Rs 18,964.85 crore the state-run firm reported in the same quarter last year
Profit before tax (PBT) for the quarter stood at Rs 12,705.04 crore compared with Rs 7,234.29 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Margins came
rose to 51.7 per cent in the second quarter from 47.5 per cent in the same quarter last year, ET Now reported.
Earnings per share (EPS) for
the quarter stood at Rs 6.44 against Rs 4.79 in June quarter and Rs 4 in the September quarter of last year.
