NEW DELHI: Power share were trading in the red with the SP BSE Power index down 1.02 per cent at 1916.39 on Thursday
Shares of Tata Power Company (down 3.02 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India (down 2.05 per cent), Adani Transmission (down 1.82 per
cent) and KEC International (down 1.66 per cent) were trading lower.
GMR Infrastructure (down 1.22 per cent), JSW Energy (down 1.09 per
cent) and Thermax (down 1 per cent) too were in the red
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 26.30 points at 10,573.75 while BSE Sensex was 85.19 points at 35,114.61 around 02:28 pm
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 15 were trading in the green, while 35 were in the red
Shares of JP Associates, Reliance Communications, NHPC, YES Bank, Idea Cellular, IDFC Bank, Suzlon Energy, Vakrangee, Dewan Housing, Ashok
Leyland, IGL, CG Power and Indust, ICICI Bank, HPCL, Infibeam Avenues, PC Jeweller and Hind Construction Company were among the most traded
shares on the National Stock Exchange.
