KATHMANDU:An aircraft of Sita Air had a narrow escape today from an accident while landing at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu. According to Ghanshyam Acharya, Director-General at Sita Air, the aeroplane 9N-AJH which took off from Lukla experienced a technical glitch resulting in the precautionary shutdown of its right engine. The aircraft landed safely at TIA at 8:51 am. Our aircraft 9N-AJH coming from Lukla experienced technical glitch this morning resulting precautiory shutdown of right engine.

Aircraft landed safely at 0851 at Kathmandu.

All crew member and aircraft unharmed.

No passenger were on board.
