KATHMANDU: Three out of six suspected COVID-19 patients who were admitted to Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious disease Hospital on Tuesday were discharged on Wednesday after they tested negative for the disease. Spokesperson for the hospital Dr Anup Bastola said test results of the remaining three patients, of which two are from the United Kingdom, would be out on Thursday. Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population Bikas Devkota said in Nepal there was only one confirmed case of COVID-19 and the patient had fully recovered in January. Director of National Public Health Laboratory Dr Runa Jha , meanwhile, said blood samples of 12 suspected COVID-19 patients sent to the lab were found to be negative.
