22 As the threat of COVID-19 pandemic impends big, the Federal government of Nepal has actually requested the government of India and China to supply medical equipment needed to identify and treat coronavirus people.

The list of equipment looked for by the federal government from India consist of 50,000 pieces of personal safety equipment( level 1), 100,000 items of PPE( level 2), 10,000 items of PPE( degree 3), 500,000 pieces of PCR examination packages, 100,000 pieces of VTM, 150,000 pieces of N95 masks, 10,000 infrared thermostats, 20 items of portable PCR, 60,000 items of mobile PCR reagents, 20 pieces of ABG equipments, 5 oxygen plants, 2,000 items of intubation sets, 20 pieces of autoclaves evaluating 300 kg, 20 items of CRRT maker and 200,000 pieces of surgical handwear covers.

The government sought the exact same amount of equipment from China.

Nevertheless, the amount of some equipment sought from China is relatively higher.

The federal government has sought 10,000 PPE (degree 3), 100,000 pieces of PCR test sets and also 150,000 pieces of N95 masks from China.

It has actually also sought 100 pieces of portable ventilator with screen and also 19 mobile rescues with lab from China.
