The president said this at a programme organised to release a book 'No Longer Untouchables' at Shitalniwas on Sunday.
The book is written by Davinson Tracey.
The president further stressed that the community itself must be active to end evil customs.
According to her, all state organs have equal role to end discrimination facing Badi community.The implementation of laws made against discrimination helps wipe out injustices.
For the elevation of Badi community, awareness, education and equality in economic opportunities are prerequisite, the president said, adding that discussion and debate at the local level with proper policy formulation were other measures in this regard.
