The entire village is at risk due to continuous occurrence of Bandrekhalti landslide and Pakhe landslide.
Most of the settlements at Patlekhet are vulnerable.As informed, landslide had swept away 700 plus ropani of fertile land and destroyed over eight hectares of forest area.Almost 75 per cent land of Raghuganga community forest has been damaged.
Landslide has damaged cultivable land and is threatening the human settlement.
However, effective measures have not been taken to control landslide.According to him, landslide had completely displaced four families last year.
The landslide-triggered disaster displaced the families of Yam Bahadur Ramjali, Hari Garbuja, Khammi Garbuja, Indra Bahadur Rawat and Gore Rokka.Likewise, the Patlekhet landslide occurred nearby Bandrekhalti area causing damages to the house of Murari Hamal, forcing them to leave the place.
