HETAUDA, APRIL 06The Hetauda bench of Patan High Court has issued a mandamus in the name of government in Bagmati province to allow the recently sacked Bagmati Province Youth Council executive Vice-chairperson Santosh Chaulagain to work in that capacity.

The provincial Youth and Sports Ministry of Bagmati, in line with the Cabinet's decision, had sacked Chaulagain of his post.
Following his sacking, Chaulagain had knocked the door of the high court accusing the government of relieving him of his post with malicious intention.
Hearing the writ filed by Chaulagain, judges Chandiraj Dhakal and Merina Shrestha of Hetauda bench of the high court issued the mandamus in the government's name.A version of this article appears in the print on April 7, 2022, of The Himalayan Times.
