Siraha, January 19Madhes Province Minister without portfolio Sanjaya Yadav said the government was committed to fulfilling the dream of martyrs while offering garlands at the Martyrs' Park in Lahan today on the occasion of the 16th Balidani Diwas (martyrdom day).

Minister Yadav spoke of the government plan to build in Lahan a museum of martyrs in the Madhes.
"Provided the municipality is ready to provide us land, the province government has a solid plan to build a model Martyrs' Museum in Lahan," he said.
He expressed commitment to making the province prosperous and self-sufficient.
"We have already got a province representing our identity, now is the time to make this province a prosperous region and the government is committed to this goal," he said.
Sixteen years ago, five persons, namely, Ramesh Mahato, Pramod Sadaya, Bijaya Sahani and Anis Ansari had lost their lives during the Madhes movement in Lahan today.
