RAUTAHAT, JUNE 24A joint security team rescued five people, including four women from the Bagmati River, in Rajdevi Municipality, Rautahat, today.

Stranded kids rescued from Bajura
The people were stranded on the bank of the river while they were returning home after grazing their cattle.
Police said that the five persons were stuck in the quicksand.
The police team rescued three of them at 10:00pm the same night and two were rescued today.
The shepherds did not know about the flood as it had rained in the hilly areas.
The water flow was maximum while they were returning home from the river bank.Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and Nepali Army joint team with boats rescued Raj Mati Devi, 50, Lalita Devi, 30 and Kisan Sahani, 60 last night, while Bilas Sah, 60, and Karan Sila Sah, 40, were rescued this morning.
They were stranded on the bank of the river as they could not cross the flooded river.
The people did not notice as it had rained in the north of the river.
