BAJURA, JULY 6A six-year-old minor of Badimalika Municipality, Bajura has been stranded for want of treatment expenses.
He has been suffering from foot injury for the past two years.

Shankar Dadal is desperately seeking treatment expenses.
District Hospital, Bajura has already referred him to a better health facility for further treatment.Earlier, he had received treatment at Bayalpata Hospital, Achham.
Shankar's father Dan Bahadur Dadal said the hospital referred him to Dhangadi, Nepalgunj and Kathmandu for further treatment, adding, "But there is no option other than to take him home."
Shankar's mother Basmati Thapa said she had taken him to Bayalpata Hospital, but in vain.
"We have no treatment expenses to take him to another health facility," she said.
"It is very difficult to manage daily meal for the family," she added.Basmati is visually impaired while Dan Bahadur is physically weak and cannot speak.Acute food crisis has hit the family as Dan Bahadur and Basmati are unable to work.
The family is in deep trouble as doctors have advised that Shankar be taken to a well-facilitated health service in Kathmandu and other hospitals.A version of this article appears in the print on July 7, 2023, of The Himalayan Times.
