DHANGADI, JULY 8More than 300 people have fallen ill due to an unknown disease in Tilagufa Municipality-10 of Kalikot district.
A medical team from the District Hospital and Tilagufa Municipality Hospital promptly responded by reaching Rudu village yesterday upon receiving information about the disease.

Katak Mahat, information officer at the District Public Health Office, confirmed that the medical team conducted health tests on the patients and distributed medicines accordingly.
The affected individuals complain of various symptoms, including fever, throat pain, headache, tonsillitis, rashes on the face, and swelling limbs.To gather more information, a health camp was organised in the village where blood samples from nine patients were collected and sent to Surkhet for further testing.
Dr Tanka Prasad Acharya from Tilagufa Municipality Hospital reported that the majority of patients are women and children.
