Suicide bombers 1,800 calls to probe by CID

The Criminal Investigation Department is scrutinising more than 1,800 telephone numbers used by the Easter Sunday suicide bombers, Police Spokesman Ruwan Gunasekera said.

Investigators attached to the CID and the Terrorist Investigation Division have taken into custody Twenty six (26) computers, including 23 laptops, 138 mobile phones and tabs, 30 external hard disks,12 pen drives, 142 sim cards and 67 CDs, DVDs and DVRs in connection with the Easter Sunday attacks
