AG seeks three-member Special High Court judge bench to hear bond scam case

The Attorney General (AG) yesterday (Jun 7) requested the Chief Justice (CJ) to appoint a three-member judge bench to hear the central bank bond scam case.

A charge sheet comprising 23 charges against the suspects involved in the bond scam which took place on February 27, 2015 has been prepared by the AG.

Accordingly, permission has been sought from the Chief Justice to submit the charge sheet against the suspects at the Special High Court, co-ordinating officer to the AG,a reaiabie source said.
