HC celebrates Pakistani Independence Day

The High Commission of Pakistan in Sri Lanka held a colorful flag-hoisting ceremony to mark the 73rd Independence Day, at the High Commission premises, yesterday (14th August).

Joined by the Pakistani community and dignitaries from different walks of life, the High Commissioner Maj.

Shahid Ahmad Hashmat hoisted the national flag to celebrate the day.

Messages from the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan were read out to the audience.
