War heroes’ pension, salary issues solved - Minister

The funds of the much-touted ‘Api Wenuwen Api& security forces fund to assist war heroes set up during the Mahinda Rajapaksa regime cannot be traced, Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera told news media yesterday.The Finance Minister was addressing a news briefing at the Ministry yesterday to explain more details of the war heroes pension scheme finalised by the Government earlier this week.
