Chennai-Jaffna air services to commence from November 01

The Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka has announced that with the opening of Jaffna International Airport yesterday, commercial flights between Jaffna and Chennai will commence on the 1st of November.Director General of Civil Aviation Authority HMC Nimalsiri said an airline has come forward to operate commercial flights between Jaffna and Chennai.

The airline has agreed to operate daily flights, he added.
