81 Air Force personnel to be awarded special medals on Monday

Around 80 Air Force personnel are to be conferred with special medals by President Maithripala Sirisena on Monday (Nov 11), a gazette issued by the Presidential Secretariat read.According to the gazette, 57 officers will receive the 'Rana Sura Padakkama' (Combat Excellence Medal) in recognition of their distinguished conduct in the face of the enemy.
