NEW DELHI: Britannia Industries, Colgate Palmolive, Hindustan Unilever, IndoStar Capital Finance, Tata Consultancy Services and Orient Press hit 52-week highs on NSE during Monday's trade despite negative market sentiment.
However, Century Textiles Industries, Strides Shasun, Ajanta Pharma, Amtek Auto and Can Fin Homes hit 52-week lows on NSE today.Market sentiment was subdued on selling in all sectors, led by metal, pharma, realty and auto.Surging oil prices and falling rupee hit market mood.
IT, PSU bank and FMCG, however, were catching buyers' attention.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 31 points down at 10,565, while the BSE Sensex was down 68 points at 34,781 around 11:15 am.In the Nifty index, 18 stocks were trading up, while 32 were down.Tata Consultancy Services, ICICI Bank, Coal India, GAIL (India) and Bharti Infratel were among the top gainers in the Nifty index.On the other hand, UPL, Dr.
Reddy's Laboratories, Sun Pharma, Zee Entertainment and Grasim Industries were among the top Nifty losers.
