Market Now: Over 170 stocks hit 52-week lows on NSE

NEW DELHI: Over 170 stocks including Apollo Hospitals Enterprise, Ballarpur Industries, Bharti Airtel and Burnpur Cement hit 52-week lows on NSE in Tuesday's trade.Can Fin Homes, Castrol India, CEAT, Corporation Bank, Jubilant Industries, Mahanagar Gas, National Fertilizers, PTC India, Rallis India and Tata Motors also featured among stocks that hit 52-week lows.Equity markets were in the positive terrain on buying in bank, financial, auto and capital good stocks.

However, losses in TCS, HDFC, ITC and State Bank of India were capping the gains.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 25 points up at 10,542, while the BSE Sensex was up 75 points at 34,691 around 10:50 am.In the Nifty index, 28 stocks were up, while 22 were down.UltraTech Cement, Bharti Infratel, HPCL and Indian Oil Corporation were the top losers in the Nifty index.
