NEW DELHI: Over 25 stocks including ABB India, Dhampur Sugar Mills, Educomp Solutions and Idea Cellular hit fresh 52-week lows on NSE during Monday's trade.
Stocks such as Jaypee Infratech, Lakshmi Vilas Bank, SRS, Talwalkars Better Value Fitness, UCO Bank and Vakrangee also figured among the stocks that hit fresh 52-week lows on NSE today.
On the other hand, over 30 stocks, including Ashok Leyland, Britannia Industries and Escort hit fresh 52-week highs on NSE during Monday's trade.
Equity markets remained subdued amid weak Asian cues after a US-led strike on Syrian targets fuelled fresh geopolitical concerns.
However, select pharma, FMCG and financial stocks were holding up, giving support to market.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 16 points down at 10,465, while the BSE Sensex was down 82 points at 34,111 around 12 (IST).
Cipla, Grasim Industries, Lupin, Tech Mahindra and Indiabulls Housing Finance were among the top gainers in the Nifty index.
On the contrary, Tata Motors, Infosys, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation, Axis Bank and Tata Steel were among the top losers in the Nifty pack.
