Stock market update: Realty shares mixed; Indiabulls Real Estate jumps 5%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading on a mixed note in Tuesday's morning session. Shares of Indiabulls Real Estate (up 5.50 per cent), DLF (up 1.34 per cent), Phoenix Mills (up 0.27 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers (up 0.26 per cent) were the top gainers in the index. Sobha (down 2.14 per cent), Godrej Properties (down 1.46 per cent), Sunteck Realty (down 1.22 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises (down 0.49 per cent) were the top losers in the index. The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.23 per cent up at 266.25 around 10:18 am.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 44.20 points at 11,065.45 while the BSE Sensex was down 169.54 points at 37,412.37.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 17 were trading in the green, while 33 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, RIL, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Dish TV India, Tata Motors, BHEL, SAIL, NTPC and JSPL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
