Share market update: Auto shares slip; Bosch down over 3%

NEW DELHI: Auto shares were trading in the red in Wednesday's morning session. Shares of Bosch (down 3.06 per cent) , Ashok Leyland (down 1.54 per cent) , Bharat Forge (down 1.46 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki India (down 1.45 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

Mahindra - Mahindra (down 1.24 per cent) , Tata Motors (down 1.21 per cent) , Eicher Motors (down 1.16 per cent) and Tata Motors (down 0.98 per cent) too were trading lower.

The Nifty Auto index was trading 0.56 per cent down at 6817.40 around 10:04 am.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 26.45 points at 10,952.30 while the BSE Sensex was up 105.82 points at 37,063.98.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 30 were trading in the green, while 20 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, HDFC Life Insurance Company, Vodafone Idea, NALCO, Coal India, SAIL, JSPL, RIL and Ashok Leyland were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
