The benchmark equity index BSE Sensex was down 4.80 points at 35595.02 in early trade on Friday, whereas the Nifty index was up 3.50 points at 10811.55.
In the Nifty pack, 23 stocks were trading in the green, while 27 stocks were in the red.
On the NSE, Antarctica Ltd, Uttam Galva Stl, Bharatiya Glo, SE Power, Inox Wind Ltd., Precot Meridian, Burnpur Cement, TN Newsprint, ITD Cementation, Steel Exchange, Nakoda Ltd, Super Spinning, Palash Securities Ltd., United Spirits, Galaxy Surfactants Ltd., Simplex Project, Arrow Greentech and Salora Intnl hit their fresh 52-week low.
However, Ind-Swift Labs, Sundram Fast, M M Forgings, Tata Elxsi, Borosil Glass, Bajaj Finance, Zydus Wellness, United Brewerie, RIL and Mahindra Logistics Ltd.
touched their fresh 52-week high today.
