Stock market update: Realty shares dip; Indiabulls Real Estate falls 3%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading in the negative zone in Monday's morning session.

Shares of Indiabulls Real Estate (down 2.77 per cent) , Godrej Properties (down 2.66 per cent) , DLF (down 2.08 per cent) , Sunteck Realty (down 1.38 per cent) , Oberoi Realty (down 1.06 per cent) , Prestige Estates Projects (down 0.97 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises (down 0.46 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.44 per cent down at 295.35 around 10:09 am.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 130.85 points at 12095.8 , while the BSE Sensex was down 430.8 points at 41033.81.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 4 were trading in the green, while 46 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Bank of Baroda, SBI, Tata Motors, SAIL, PNB, JSPL and NBCC were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
