Mumbai: Smallcap firms controlled the bulk deals again in Friday's trade. For the day, the 30-share Sensex closed 3.22 percent or 968.11 points greater at 31,588.72, while the 50-share Nifty progressed 3.05 per cent or 273.95 factors to shut at 9,266.75. Almost Rs 3 lakh crore were added to the marketplace capitalization of BSE-listed companies. The fund held 1.30 per cent risk in the company at the end of March quarter.

Prataap Snacks closed 2.70 per cent higher at Rs 468.70 a share on the NSE >>> > Nopea Resources Provider got 25,600 shares in Jakharia Material at Rs 185 a share.

The shares closed flat at Rs 185 a share on the NSE. >>> > Axis Trustee Provider sold another 150,53,000 shares of Reliance House Financing at Rs 0.75 a share.

Alpha Leon Enterprises purchased an internet of 89,54,135 shares in the company at the very same cost.
