Nepal records two COVID-19 cases on Wednesday

KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 21The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal has reached 18, on Wednesday as two persons tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours. Nepal records 38 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday Nepal records 119 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday The nationwide COVID-19 infection tally remains at 1,000,921 while the death toll remains at 12,019 as no fatality was recorded today. Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 988,961 with three discharges logged today.As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 663 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 261 were PCR tests while 402 were antigen tests.With this, a total of 5,986,075 PCR tests have been carried out till date.Similarly, antigen tests confirmed no positive case in the past 24 hours.

Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.8%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal. .
