Kathmandu, December 2 The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority today filed a case at the Special Court against 11 individuals for their alleged involvement in tampering with land survey map and causing loss to the state while benefiting individual. According to a CIAA press statement, Surveyor Upendra Das of Sunsari Survey Office Sunsari, in collusion with other surveyors and individuals, tampered with the survey map of a land plot belonging to Sunsari District Administration Office and allocated more than the actual area of land to Ramesh Kumar Shrestha and Asma Khatun. Others involved in the scam include surveyors Yogendra Prasad Yadav, Kapleshwor Ram and Sukdev Yadav, who approved the illicit plotting of the land. Other individuals charge-sheeted include Ramesh Prasad Sha, Aijul Mansuri, Bibi Saratul, Ahmed Hussain, and Raifun Khatun.
