German tourists organize ‘Dansela’

This Vesak season was no exception when it came to the glitter and glamour in the illuminations and the spirit of giving and sharing, though conducting mega Vesak celebrations were cancelled due to security considerations.

Although foreign tourist arrivals have dropped following the Easter Sunday terrorist attacks, this group of visitors from Germany while organizing a ‘Dansela& near the ancient Dambulla temple joined in the seasons spirit of giving by engaging in the act of ‘Daana,& a highly venerated aspect of Vesak.
