Showery condition to enhance most parts of the island

Showery condition is expected to enhance to some extent over most parts of the island, particularly in south-western part.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces.Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places elsewhere particularly in after 2.00 p.m.

Fairly heavy falls about 100 mm can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern and Uva provinces.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers.

General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
